Bubble wrap, plastic packaging, grosgrain ribbon, thread
Functional fruit basket made by hand-processing over six layers of plastic waste (bubble wrap, shipping and food packaging) and then cutting and hand-sewing to use all material in the finished product.

Single-use plastic packaging
Plastic collage made from food packaging, wrappers, and shopping bags from Tokyo, Japan. Experimenting with different types of plastic melted at different temperatures resulted in manipulation of the original material via warping and "lace"-making.
